Europe's iOS Tabletop Board Games Q1 2024 Insights

In Q1 2024, Europe's iOS platform has seen varying performances among the top 5 tabletop board games. Sensor Tower provides a closer look at the trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for these applications.

Chess - Play & Learn by Chess.com, released in 2009, showed a descending trend in revenue from $280K in the first week of January to nearly $183K by the end of March. Downloads started at 105K and dipped to around 77K mid-quarter, then slightly recovered to approximately 77K. Weekly active users peaked at 3.3M in mid-January, with a slight decrease to around 3.1M towards the quarter's end.

Backgammon - Lord of the Board from Beach Bum Ltd, a 2016 release, also experienced a fluctuating revenue pattern, peaking at roughly $164K and closing the quarter at about $150K. Downloads saw a drop from 8K to just over 5K, while the active users showed a modest increase from 69K to 64K.

Zynga Inc.'s 101 YüzBir Okey Plus, on the market since 2013, had a revenue trajectory that escalated from $73K to over $104K. Its downloads maintained a stable range between 26K and 29K, and weekly active users swelled from 482K to 558K.

SuperPlay's Domino Dreams™, the newest game in the list with a 2023 release, showed a positive trend in revenue, climbing from $44K to nearly $94K. Downloads surged in the last week to approximately 35K, up from 22K at the start of the quarter. Weekly active users more than doubled from 27K to 49K.

Yalla Ludo - Ludo&Domino, from Yalla Technology FZ-LLC and released in 2018, saw its revenue increase from $54K to $71K. Downloads were quite steady, hovering around 2K, with a notable spike to 3.3K in mid-March. Weekly active users remained constant, with a slight increase from 13K to nearly 14K.
